 | I agree. I have picked up this excuse for a newspaper enough. The current issue
has a beaming review of the Laanta Lanta cultural festival ??? covering almost a
full page, pictures of dead fish and all. How many poeple were there compared
tothe thousands at the blues festival over those three nights including the
marina and Kata parties?? I guess the folks at the Gazette don't care much
about music or great events around it locally. |

with empahsis on newspaper, suggesting phuket post is not one. For the
island's only english-language newspaper not to write a decent review of
the only music event of any significance is extremely poor. |

| Well, ad sales is the main revenue source of probably all newspapers and the PG
is no exception. But you can read about crime, gardening and other important
issues. |

| What do you expect from Phuket Gazette, selling ads is the main thing half of
the weekly paper is ads. I wish there are others who cares about the locals. |

| Just got back from the rest of the holiday  , but
the Festival was the Highlight! 
My 1st & Definatley not my last! My Fave performer was KniKi from
Perth Oz..Thought she was Awesome. Her 1st time to. Would've
liked it if she was on for a few more songs tho, was lovin it.I'll be
looking forward to seeing Kniki next year in another Rockin Festival ! |

| Brilliant. Lotsa stuff now on youtube and finally an intelligent review on
thaivisa.com a few days ago. Nice! This past weekend Phuket Post did a sorta
review (?!) but Phuket Gazette zilch. Nada. So much for local media support.
Come on, this event deserves a lot better! |
